A 28-year-old man is in police custody facing multiple criminal charges after leading SPVM (Service de police de la Ville de Montréal) officers on a lengthy car chase.
The suspect drove over the Jacques Cartier Bridge in a hot pursuit that lasted nearly an hour and ending roughly 30 kilometers away on Montreal’s South Shore.
As Global’s Brayden Jagger Haines reports, police suspect the man may have been intoxicated during the incident.
