On this episode of The Hu$tle Podcast, we sit down with Wahlee, a multi-talented hip-hop artist and actor who’s been making waves in the French scene and beyond. Known as the creative mind behind the Barz Up series, Wahlee brings a unique perspective on music, culture, and personal growth.
We dive into his latest projects and how his journey has evolved over time, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conversation also explores how he transitioned into acting, what inspired that move, and how the journey has been navigating a new lane while staying rooted in hip-hop. We break down the vision behind his Barz Up series, a platform where artists come through to showcase pure lyricism and bars, and how it’s helping push the culture forward.

We also get into the Montreal music scene, discussing the contrast between the French and English sides, and why the English scene is still searching for a stronger identity compared to its French counterpart.
