A tugboat owner in Nanaimo says he’s frustrated with the justice system after the suspect in a recent break-in that led to a lengthy police stand-off is now free on bail.

Andre Reynolds, the owner of the tugboat, upon reviewing the surveillance video after a second break-in, discovered the same suspect was on board a day earlier.

As Kristen Robinson reports, the accused was arrested, charged and released again on Tuesday on $250 bail.
