On March 19, 2019, 33-year-old Jerome Belle was gunned down in broad daylight while walking with a friend and his dog in Toronto’s west end. A hooded gunman in a white sweatshirt opened fire before fleeing into a waiting white Mercedes-Benz. Nearly a year later, police arrested Saaid Mohiadin, and in 2023, a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder.
