In this video we explore Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO world heritage site in Southern Alberta.
This buffalo jump was used for thousands of years by First Nations peoples of Alberta, and it is one of the most important archaeological sites in North America.
This site features a beautiful interpretive centre and museum highlighting the history of the buffalo jump and the local Indigenous peoples of the area.
I would highly recommend visiting if you’ve never been, this is an epic spot and the interpretive centre building alone is well worth exploring!
