Drone footage taken above one of California’s most scenic and iconic roadways, the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, showed the extent of wildfire destruction, with scores of beachfront homes razed to the ground.
The fires have killed at least 25 people, damaged or destroyed more than 12,000 homes and other structures, and forced as many as 200,000 people from their homes.
