In this video I briefly cover the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and their involvement with Canada.
It is alleged that the gang has been extorting members of the South Asian community for years, and they have been involved in numerous high-profile murders on Canadian soil.
Their alleged involvement in the murder of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, British Columbia in 2023 contributed to a diplomatic crisis between Canada and India that has not been resolved.
There is a growing bi-partisan movement across Canada to have the Bishnoi gang designated as a terrorist organization, which would give law enforcement increased abilities to deal with this group.
