Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in an apparent home invasion in the city’s affluent Lawrence Park neighbourhood on Wednesday.
Investigators say four men forced their way into a home in the Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue area and that one of the suspects shot a man who lives inside the home. The resident was rushed to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
