Shocking new details have emerged regarding the daylight shooting at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills property. On Sunday, March 8, 2026, 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly opened fire on the superstar’s mansion using an AR-15-style rifle.
According to prosecutors, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their three children (RZA, Riot, and Rocki), and Rihanna’s mother were all on the property at the time of the attack. Reports indicate that Rihanna and Rocky were actually inside a trailer on the grounds when the gunfire began. Approximately 10 shots were fired from a white Tesla parked across the street, striking the home’s gate, the trailer, and even a neighbor’s house.
Thankfully, no one was injured, and the LAPD was able to apprehend Ortiz shortly after at a nearby shopping center.
The “Crazy” Backstory:
The suspect, a licensed speech pathologist from Florida, had been posting a series of “weird” and disturbing videos to social media leading up to the event. In these clips, she ranted about Rihanna being a “witch,” accused the singer of trying to kill her, and claimed she bought stock in Ulta just to stop “bad energy” from Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty displays.
Ivanna Ortiz is now facing 14 felony counts, including:
1 count of attempted murder
10 counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm
3 counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle
She is currently being held on $1.8 million bail. Stay tuned as we follow the legal proceedings and any further updates on the family’s safety.
