These beer-battered smoked chicken wings are the definition of a 10/10. They start on the offset smoker for pure smoky flavour, then get dunked in a Coldstream Clear Nova Scotia Lager beer batter and shallow-fried to crispy perfection.
🔥 Step 1 – Season & Smoke
Start by seasoning your wings with your favourite BBQ dry rub. Move them to your offset smoker at 275°F for about 1.5 hours, just long enough to soak in that rich smoky flavour.
🍺 Step 2 – Make the Coldstream Beer Batter
• 1 full can @coldstreamclear Nova Scotia Lager
• 1½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
Whisk everything together until smooth.
🔥 Step 3 – Batter & Fry
Dip each smoked wing into the beer batter, fully coating it. Give them a shallow fry until crispy, golden, and absolutely irresistible.
🌶️ Step 4 – Serve
Serve with a simple spicy ranch sauce… trust me, these wings do not miss.
