An off-duty Toronto police officer has been found guilty of assault after an altercation over a fake Apple Watch.
Calvin Au had accompanied his partner in April 2021, to a parking lot in Brampton where his partner had arranged to buy an Apple Watch. But after purchasing the watch, they realized it was a fake.
An altercation occurred and the person who sold the fake watch later died in hospital.
