Toronto Police are looking for 61-year-old Mussie Woldemariam of Toronto, wanted on three counts of assault and three counts of breaching probation. All three women were strangers to him and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The latest incident happened on June 5th inside Broadview Station, and the second one was on Thursday, “where he again, unprovoked assaulted a female passenger and then fled the scene,” police said.
These incidents have left riders feeling on edge, especially those who rely on the TTC daily.
“It’s hard to believe in 2025, we are still dealing with sexual assaults on women,” said a TTC rider.
Global’s Lexy Benedict reports.
