Two teenagers are dead and a Surrey townhouse complex is behind police tape after a late-night shooting.
The RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the case and believes the killing of the 16 and 18-year-olds was targeted and is linked to the ongoing B.C. gang conflict.
As Global’s Erin Ubels reports, a vehicle fire was reported shortly after the shooting and is believed to be linked to the homicide.
Investigators say the case is in its early stages, with no arrests made and no suspect information released.
