I Went Looking For Mexico City’s BIG Protest! 🇲🇽

Mexico City – Tuesday late afternoon, November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women), and @yusuffmex and I are racing through Mexico City’s streets like two idiots with cameras, trying to track down the massive 25N march everyone’s been talking about. Femicides here are brutal and relentless, and every year on this date hundreds of thousands of women flood the capital screaming “Ni una más” to demand justice, safety, and an end to the killings. We started near Reforma thinking it would be easy to spot, but the city is huge and the crowds kept shifting, so for hours we sprinted block after block, dodging traffic, chasing rumors of purple smoke and drums, until finally the roar hit us and we got completely swallowed by the biggest protest I’ve ever seen.
