NOTE: All information in this video is based on publicly available information. This is intended to be a general overview for people interested in this subject.
In this video I will cover some of the major criminal figures and organizations that have been active in the city of Montreal, Quebec. This is a very complex subject, and there is a lot of information I didn’t include. I did my best to put together a reasonable overview and summary of some of the major groups in the city.
Montreal generally has lower average crime rates than most other large Canadian cities, but at the same time it is considered by many to be the organized crime capital of the country.
In this video, I am focusing on the mafia style groups that have been a part of the underworld of Montreal.
I cover the following individuals and organizations in this video:
– Harry Davis and the Jewish Mob
– The Cotroni Crime Family
– Richard Blass and the Blass Gang
– The Rizzuto Crime Family
– The West End Gang
There are many other organizations that I didn’t cover in parts 1 and 2 – part 3 will be coming up within a couple weeks.
I hope you found this one interesting and informative. If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing – I typically upload something new around once a week and I have a ton of new videos coming up this year.
