A man convicted in the brutal slayings of his three children has been granted a one-year conditional release by the British Columbia Review Board.
Allan Schoenborn was found not criminally responsible for killing his three children, aged five, eight and 10, in their Merritt home in 2008.
Chairperson Geneviève Boudreau says Schoenborn must attend a psychiatric clinic for treatment, live at a supervised place and return to the forensic psychiatric hospital in Coquitlam if ordered to do so.
